A month of dissemination!

The theme of September for us was “disseminate information about ReaLiTea as widely as possible”!

We followed this theme quite closely starting on September 1 at the Circle U Event “Language Teaching in Motion” where we had the pleasure to present our project as a small multiplier event in a mixed audience consisting of language teachers, language teacher educators and language teaching researchers. We were also able to collect valuable feedback on the recently added level of “initial” in our Framework defining research literacy for language teachers.

We presented ReaLiTea for a second time this month to yet another audience at the Second Language Teacher Education 2026 Conference at the University of Edinburgh, UK. We were really pleased to see many familiar faces from the last two editions of the SLTED conference series and many interested colleagues in our project who saw the value of the framework and teaching resources for their different teaching contexts.

“All good things come in threes”, and therefore, we chose the ÖGSD Conference 2026 at the University of Innsbruck, Austria for a final dissemination activity in September.  After our presentation, several colleagues from South Tyrol, Germany and Austria approached us to express their interest and need of such a framework and materials, both for teachers at the pre-service and in-service level as well as for the teacher educators. We believe we could motivate some of them to join our next and last online multiplier event scheduled to be around the beginning of December!

What a successful month of spreading the ideas of ReaLiTea!
