Building a virtual Community of Practice (vCoP)
We offer an online space as a hub for a digital community of practice that brings together second, foreign and additional language teachers and researchers. This hub is hosted and curated by our colleagues PD Dr. Schauwecker and Dr. Saskia Schabio at the University of Stuttgart.
Our HumHub community offers workspaces that invite a range of activities and participation (e.g., talk, share documents, wiki, plan events).
In the community, teachers have a forum in which to share both their resource-aligned outputs, such as research papers and conference presentations, and texts and products that stem from their core teaching activities, such as assessment rubrics, qualitative and quantitative analyses of student performance, templates, syllabi and more.
We hope to see this develop into a space for vibrant international collaboration aiming at the production of classroom-based knowledge.

Submit a research question
Turning classroom practice into research: feel free to share questions evolving from your teaching experience and thus provide a springboard for future research. Either become a co-researcher in our project or hand it over to one of our participants.
Register your class / course for a study
Joining us will offer your pupils and students a great experience! We cordially invite you to contact us by clicking on the image above. We make sure to tailor our initiative to the needs of your class and schedule! Optional: If this is of interest, invite us to your classrooms (in person or online): we offer brief roll-ups to the background of our research and get students involved in inquiry-based learning. This is a great occasion to bring action-research to your classrooms!
